This house is an architectural tale about evoking connected emotions of a traditional Indian family, an attempt to revive the memories of their spacious village home into a compact urban site. The client needed a house that can transform into a huge space during festivals and family gatherings, not the one that limits spaces into small and isolated rooms. With its functional and interactive design, this house intends to preserve the rural identity of the inhabitants. The approach intended to design family oriented spaces filled with light and flowing breeze, with each space having multiple functions. This residence is not just unique in design but it is equally functional, interactive and engaging for its users.
